Farm Energy Nova Scotia logo

Farm Energy Nova Scotia is a new organization whose purpose is to provide the agricultural community with guidance and research for energy sustainability on farms. I was contacted to create a simple high impact logo. After evaluating the needs, goals & audience for their logo, I presented them with several options and (with additional refinements) this is what they chose.

The imagery of the sun is an effective metaphor for the idea of renewable resources, while the silhouette of a farm & windmill suggests it literally. Blue and green colours symbolize natural ideas of earth, plants & water.

Layout design of a new monthly Newsletter for the Owner-Operator’s Business Association of Canada (OBAC). They are a trade association representing professional drivers and owner-operators across the country. “The authoritative national voice of small business trucking”. This design pulls from the existing look & feel of their website.
